Located in Whitianga, the heart of the Coromandel Peninsula, situated on the Esplanade with unobstructed views of the Waterfront looking out onto the Bay. Stoked was established in 2016, Andy & Bex ( owner / operators ) had a vision to open their own Restaurant & Bar. With both having 25 years experience in the Hospitality Industry this was their life long dream. They are originally from England and have extensive skills in International Cuisine, Cooking & the Hospitality Industry. An exciting opportunity came up and they purchased a 3 bedroom Bach and converted it into a Restaurant & Bar. Their vision at Stoked is to provide a relaxed Waterfront dining experience and with a talented team of Staff they can ensure their customers are welcomed and make their experience the best in Whitianga.


The Restaurant offers a unique style of cooking using a Charcoal Oven and a Smoker. This enables them to serve up Char grilled Meats, Seafood & Vegetables with a charred finish & smoky aroma to the dishes. The offset smoker allows them to smoke their own Seafood, Cheese & Low & Slow cooked cuts of meat. They also serve up local Seafood, including Coromandel Mussels & Oysters. To accompany these dishes they have a range of Craft Beers & Cider on Tap, local Wine & Fusion Coffee. They support local up and coming Brewers & Food Suppliers.
